The teacher who is interviewed at the end of this video is terribly arrogant and not wise at all.

Elephants, chimpanzees, and dolphins are all self-aware and have exhibited this behavior to some degree.

Actually, I prefer the 13th century. By the 19th century, the modern age was well under way, indeed, more than half over.

Reject the myth of progress.

You need to learn to relax y’know. Montaigne also says no amount of griping will bring thed past back, oh poor relic of the 19th century.

Someone please tell me which animal thinks about its body?

I really love this series but why is a Maori backed by an Australian aboriginal digeridoo?

Ah yes, of course: The host is now pushing today’s dictatorship of relativism. Friends, actually read Montaigne for yourselves. You’re going to find that he was NOT a faithful subject of the dictatorship of relativism.

A great series.

Haha! Arg that poor vegetarian… just sitting down for lunch and here comes a man with a pig head on a platter!

hey you! learn from pigs!

hahaha i know it was probably just a typo but what you mean to say is maori, and the way that the Maori said ‘kia ora’ is like no way i’ve heard it pronounced before. Cracks me up how badly New Zealand culture gets misrepresented to an international audience.

You’re welcome.

Thank you very much for these!
